Theses requirements

The assignment and submission of bachelor’s and master’s theses is governed by the documents listed below:

• Dean’s Measure No. 10/2014 Rules for the Registration, Submission, Defence and Publication of Final Theses
• Methodological instructions – recommended formatting of the final qualification thesis
• Manual for uploading final theses into SIS
• According to the new regulations, final theses are to be submitted only in electronic form in SIS. For the purposes of the defence, only two “auxiliary copies” will be submitted, in terms of content fully identical to the electronic version of the thesis.  These copies do not need to be bound with a hard binding, spiral binding or similar is sufficient.

Citation standard:

Charles University follows  the ČSN ISO 690 citation standard.
